Assisted Living Program
Wilson Memorial General Hospital is enhancing services provided by CCAC (Community Care Access Center)
with improved flexibility to hours for eligible seniors, 65 years and over. The Assisted Living Program (ALP) is designed to each individuals needs, likes and dislikes which means no two packages are the same. The ALP’s goal is to make living in an individual’s home achievable.
What is Assisted Living?
It is a program designed for Seniors 65 and over who require assistance with daily living tasks through
home supports and services. Services are provided by PSW’s, SSW, and several other health care professionals.
Some services include:
24/7 care, assistance with housekeeping, laundry, personal care and hygiene, wonderful Jacuzzi baths, medication monitoring, meal preparation, banking or paying bills, foot care, installation and rental of lifeline services and much
more. Programs available are: Recreation Therapy, Grocery Program, and Minimal Maintenance Services, just to name a few.
Who is eligible?
Seniors 65 and over, who are considered High Risk as assessed by CCAC.
