Marathon Diabetes Education Clinic Service

This program is funded and supported by the Northern Diabetes Health Network. It is one of many Diabetes education programs across Northern Ontario. The Marathon Diabetes Education Clinic Service (MDECS) was established in Marathon in 1992. The MDECS is a part-time program, staffed by one Registered Nurse, Diabetes Educator (Lynn Bertin) and a Registered Dietitian, Certified Diabetes Educator (Pearl Giuliano). The clinic is open during regular business hours on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursdays.
