Wilson Memorial General Hospital

The Rehabilitation department is located on the second floor of the hospital. A spacious, bright 1800 square footage of rehabillitation office and treatment space is available to both inpatients and outpatients. The rehabilitation team includes one full-time physiotherapist, one full-time occupational therapist and one full-time rehabilitation assistant.

The bulk of patient care is outpatient orthopaedics with a large variety of conditions being treated. The rehabilitation team works in collaboration with other medical professionals, regional and local health organizations and local industry to provide the best possible rehabilitation services to patients. The rehabilitation team is also active in promoting injury prevention and health and wellness in the community.

The department is fully equipped with a variety of modalities and a good selection of exercise equipment. The hours of patient care are from 8:30am to 4:30pm, Monday to Friday. A referral from your physician is necessary.
